So It begins. My first ever blog. 12/5/15
I will begin where I begin all work, which is to place the importance of the heart in the Path of Awakening.
For most of us, to keep the heart open and connected to the rest of us takes work, and it takes so little for our ego to have us shut it down or disconnect from it.
We cannot grow without the willingness to open the heart and maintain our connection to it.
Do you know what your heart reflexes are?
What do you perceive as a dangerous thing that excuses the heart to close or for you to disconnect as a protective and defensive strategy.
What are your key words that trigger this disconnect?
Betrayal? Fear? Feeling unworthy, unvalidated, unsafe, unaware,?
These are some perceived dangers. We perceive them through our lenses of our history, our often distorted lenses. We all have some of them.
These are just a few of the triggers I suffer from. It would be helpful for you to know your own.
It is only when we understand these automatic impulses that we develop the strength and awareness to undo those automatic patterns, and then are able to re-connect more swiftly.
We need to have the willingness to allow the vibration spiritually we are aligned to and in harmony with, to take over from the ego and all its limited patterns. This divine connection if we give it permission, and request the assistance can perform the "operation" to move the tight lock, the heart lock. As this occurs we then have space to experience the magnificence of the spiritual energy, to experience the breath of the divine, the breath of God, spirit, the buddha nature, however it speaks to you.
Let it point out the path of wisdom , and may we have the courage to follow that path.
Blessings
